RUNESCAPE

i've been addicted to this free online game for quite a while now.
it's called RUNESCAPE.


according to wikipedia.com:


"RuneScape is a Java-based MMORPG operated by Jagex Ltd.


RuneScape takes place in the fantasy-themed realm of Gielinor,[5] which is divided into the Kingdoms of Misthalin, Asgarnia, and Kandarin, the tropical island of Karamja, the Kharidian Desert, the Wilderness, and various other areas.[6] Players can travel throughout the game world on foot, by using magical teleportation spells or devices, or on gnome gliders, mine carts, or other mechanical means of transportation.[7] Each region offers different types of monsters, materials, and quests to challenge players.

and because i'm such a big fan of online games such as the RAN online. i got easily addicted to this game.


although you can play the game for free, there are still some features that are not available for free users. you still need to be a member in order to gain access to certain features.




by the way, while i was browsing the internet i came acoss this site MOJIZU. MOJIZU is a contemporary character design community. so if you are in for some cute graphics and stuff go visit the site.

DLS - STI Student Educational Fair

FEBRUARY 26, 2007 and FEBRUARY 27, 2007

so yea, it's a two-day fair for all the students of DLS - STI Quezon Avenue. it's not really the typical fair that everyone knows. this one's educational which means there are lots of seminars, some of them are boring and some are somehow interesting.


on the first day of the educational fair, almost all of the seminars are held simultaneously on both venues, amoranto sports complex and DLS - STI school building and also the tagisan nang talino and debate was also held on the same day on amoranto sports complex. but during the tagisan nang talino and debate there are no seminars on - going, becuase everyone should have their attentions on the said competition.

FYI: benedict mora and randolf catolico, my dear group mates, was declared chapion at the tagisan nang talino contest. our adviser chose them to represent the BSCS. CONGRATS TO THE BOTH OF YOU

oh well, enough about them.


first day was boring.


yesterday, tuesday, wake up at around 6:30am just to find out that we have no 7am classes due to the educational fair. super hate it. slept at 4:30am then wakes up at 6:30am, such a bummer!


hubby and i went to amoranto at around 8:30am and we've attended this seminar about Basic Mountaineering Course. obviously, everything that they discussed is all about mountaineering and the mountains. how cool the places and scenery that you can see on top of the mountains that they've climbed. do's and dont's, you know those stuff related to tht mountaineering and mountains as well.


you see, they are recruiting some students from DLS - STI to join their newly formed group / club. i think it's cool to be one of them, but i guess i will pass on being on the group this time. because according to the lecturer, "every single step comes a big responsibility", although i'm not scared to have responsibilities, being on the team of mountaineerings is different versus being on the other team. i don't know, maybe it's just my opinion.



some students with the guidance of the people in-charge on the mountaineering, they will have a minor climb on MARCH 11 - 12, 2007. so if any of you are interested to come with them it's ok, you will only need to go to this seminar on MARCH 4, 2006 don't worry the topic on the seminar will be about basic things on what to and what not.


oh well, i'm already advertising them. so i guess i better stop already. hehehe.


after the Basic Mountaineering Course seminar, hubby and i along with april and patrick ate at shakey's tomas morato. actually, we are supposed to eat at burgoo but i don't feel like eating there.


after eating, we went back to amoranto sports complex for another seminar, which is something about stress management. poor me, haven't understand a bit on what the lecturer is trying to say because we're like LATE again. boo!


after the stress management seminar, bingo game started.


weee! i'm expecting to win something but seriously i'm aiming for the washing machine and the 100% discount for the next term. but LUCK was not with me and i didn't win. but it's ok, it's just a game! atleast i had fun.


after the bingo game, there will be a concert thing-y casted by the students but becuase they are still busy preparing there is an hour break. hubby and i went back again to tomas morato to buy some kopi bun at kopiroti and of course starbucks. we're starving like we haven't ate all day, the kopi bun and the starbucks drink will be our merienda. when we got back to the venue, the concert was not yet showed. waited for a while, then let the concert begin.


nothing really much to say.
the high school students also performed on the stage.
the college students also performed as well as some faculty and staffs who joined the concert performed.
they danced and sung. blah! blah! blah!
the halili-cruz school of ballet dancers also performed, they are actually the special guest. and boy! they are great! how i wish i can still do ballet at my age.


the concert ended at around 9:30pm, i guess.
went straight home because hubby still got class today.


when we got home, no food to eat. so hubby asked me if i want to eat at the tapsilogan and ofcourse i said YES!.


FEBRUARY 28, 2007


well hubby promised me yesterday that he will go with me to the mall because i need to buy some formal outfit that i'll be wearing on our defense on the 5th of March, i just hope his not going to break his promise.


about the defense, they moved it on the 5th of March instead of having it last monday. wohoo! our thesis adviser rocks! she's the one responsible for the change of the defense.


so i guess it's bye for now.
still have lots of things to do.
lots of thesis stuffs.

JANUARY 16, 2007
because it's our anniversary and our post-hearts day celebration, we went out and go malling. before we went to sm, we've planned to eat at cravings or anywhere in the vicinity of tomas morato since our school is near tomas morato. but for a certain reason (which i can't remember) instead of eating at tomas morato vicinity, we ended up at sm north edsa and guess where we ended up eating; PIZZA HUT, hahaha, but it's ok! as long as we're together, i'm happy. awwww! hello mushy me. after eating, we went to cyberzone check out the prices of some phones. i don't know! but i have this feelings that he's gonna bought me that motorola razr v3i dolce and gabbana, hahaha! asa. after browsing all the stores, we went home already. we're both tired already because from school we went straight to sm, and all those walking are very much tiring.




JANUARY 17, 2007
it was a very nice saturday, no saturday class for me. so hubby decided to tag me along to bulacan. every saturday and sunday, he's driving his auntie from quezon city to bulacan, so yes! finally i was able to join them. though it was a very hot saturday, i still had fun and enjoyed the day. we went to this place called "LIGAS"and guess what i saw lots and lots of mangoes and mango trees. went to a lot of places, and guess again what i saw; places that we had gone during our high school educational trip. i'm in memory lane that time, reminiscing all my high school days especially my VFF and batch mates. come on, believe it or not we are the best batch ever. awww! how i wish i can see all of them right at this moment. after that memory lane moments of mine, my hubby and i went home already though we still waited for ages just for that fucking van to be filled up with all passengers. i even slept in the back seat and when i woke up there are still 3 passengers to be filled. such a bummer! home at around 8pm.


at around 10pm, we watched some dvds. watched step up, while watching i felt so dizzy. so when the movie ended i go straight to my bed and fell asleep because i'm not really feeling well, i even vomitted before going to bed.




JANUARY 18, 2007
and because i'k not feeling well that night, i passed on hearing the mass that day. forgive me, LORD for not going to church. but i know you do understand me, because i'm not feeling well that day but still I'M SO SORRY. nothing much happened, i just lay on my bed and watch dvds while munching on some frosted flakes, cereals it is. when baby went home, he treats me to this tapsilogan; i don't care at all! the foods uber tasty.




JANUARY 19, 2007
no classes, but i need to go to school we are supposed to have our mock defense with out thesis adviser at 5:30pm. but unfortunately the mock defense was cancelled, or assumed that it was. we haven't saw our thesis adviser though we waited for her until 6:30pm, i don't know but maybe she totally forgot all about the mock defense. we decided to eat at chowking, bought the salo-salo set a. but since we're 5 and the salo-salo set a of chowking is good for 4 persons only, the crew gave us another free soup and told us to buy an extra rice if the rice is not enough. and she's right, we had to order extra rice but the "ulam" is enough for us.


when i got home, my hubby and i had a little petty quarrell but not for long we're back to our normal kulitan and lambigan. he even gave me pancit palabok and soda, cause it's his sisters birthday. after that, we ate cookies and cream ice cream.


well, as of yesterday and today. it's the start of my prefinals and my defense will be on the 26th, though it's a tentative date, wish me luck!
